Awsome DRawing, i loved it if it was in colors or more contrast. But i really like the Faceexpression...its chilling and spooks me out :D Good Luck at this COTM

Thanks, it is rather High Key...I did my best after scanning it to balance the brightness and contrast. But I guess the original was rather light handed. I wanted to have contrast mostly on her eyes to further draw the viewers attention :)

I really like the mainchar, but it looks like you lost interest at the background.. beside this really good. Wish you good luck at this COTM m8

Thanks a lot, also for the feedback! I chose to not make the background too detailed, the Character and the Flower in his hand should already tell that we're seeing Winter and Spring. The background should only depict the complication and struggle Spring is for Winter. So that's why I didn't want to draw any more flowers, leaves or animals etc.
But visually it might be a little bit boring indeed.
